John J. Crowley III was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1993. He graduated from St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Mobile in 2012. Jay attended The University of Alabama where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy in 2016. In 2017, he graduated from the Master of Accountancy program in the Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama.
Following his graduation from the University of Alabama, Jay was employed as a staff accountant with a local public accounting firm for two years and as a senior accountant with the same firm for six months.
In July 2020, Crowley accepted a position as an operations trainee of Mitchell McLeod Pugh & Williams in Mobile. In January 2021, Jay became head of the firm’s operations and portfolio management systems divisions, and he continues to serve in this role.
Jay is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jay and his wife, Leigh, attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
